Ganghwado is the fifth-largest island in Korea, and is located in the West Sea.↵
It is less than an hour away from Seoul, so it is one of the closest historical destinations to Seoul.↵ In addition, it is easy to visit because of the bridge linking it to Seoul.↵ The island is like a big museum because it has many historical sites.↵ Old history and culture are still alive there.↵ The most famous one is the site with over 120 stone tombs from the Bronze Age.↵ UNESCO chose it as a World Heritage Site in 2000. |
